The TS Bundaberg Cadet Unit has proudly achieved a new milestone, raising the largest amount to date from the Friday night community raffles held at the Bundaberg RSL Club last month.
The record-breaking result reflects the strong community support for youth development programs and highlights the positive impact of the RSL Club’s ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and local community groups through its regular raffles.
What Do Naval Cadets Do?
TS Bundaberg Cadet Unit is part of the Australian Navy Cadets, a nationally recognised youth organisation focused on developing leadership, teamwork and life skills in young people.
Cadets participate in activities such as seamanship and navigation, drill and ceremonial training, first aid and survival skills, leadership development, community service and adventure-based activities. These experiences help young people build confidence, discipline and resilience while learning the value of service.
Friday Night Raffles Supporting Local Groups
The Bundaberg RSL Club is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting organisations that make a difference.
Friday night raffles feature tickets on sale from 5 pm, drawn from 7 pm, with prizes including seafood vouchers and meat trays. Every ticket purchased helps support local community groups like TS Bundaberg Cadet Unit.
