Join us at Bundaberg RSL Club as we honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans and commemorate ANZAC Day with the Bundaberg community.
ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, remembrance and community. In partnership with the regional commemorations, Bundaberg RSL Club proudly supports a full day of services and traditions, beginning before dawn and continuing throughout the day.
From the Dawn Service at the Bundaberg Cenotaph to the Civic Service and traditional Two-Up, we invite members, guests and the wider community to come together in honour of those who served.
As highlighted in the official Bundaberg Regional Council program, ANZAC Day remains a moment to reflect on courage, sacrifice and national pride.
DAWN SERVICE & PARADE
4:00am – Parade Assembly
Outside Bundaberg RSL Club (Quay Street)
4:16am – Dawn Service
Bundaberg Cenotaph (via Barolin Street march)
Join the traditional march departing the Club and proceeding to the Cenotaph for the official Dawn Service, a solemn tribute featuring wreath laying, The Ode, Last Post and one minute’s silence.
GUNFIRE BREAKFAST (EXCLUSIVE)
4:45am – 7:00am
Bundaberg RSL Club
A complimentary Gunfire Breakfast will be served for ex-service and currently serving personnel (with ID), continuing a long-standing ANZAC tradition of camaraderie and remembrance.
Family members are welcome (small fee applies).
CIVIC SERVICE
8:30am – Bundaberg Civic Service
ANZAC Park
Continue your ANZAC Day by attending the official Civic Service, featuring commemorative readings, hymns, wreath laying and a community tribute to all who have served.
AT THE CLUB
Club Opening Time: 10am
(Café & Bistro available)
After the morning services, return to Bundaberg RSL Club to relax, connect and reflect with the community.
*Gaming Room will be open from 1pm.
TWO-UP – FROM 1PM
Experience the iconic ANZAC Day tradition of Two-Up, commencing from 1pm at the Club.
A symbol of mateship and Australian heritage, Two-Up is played legally only on ANZAC Day and offers a unique way to honour the spirit of the ANZACs.
ABOUT ANZAC DAY
ANZAC Day commemorates the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli in 1915 and honours all Australians who have served in military operations.
As noted in the regional program, it is a time to recognise the enduring values of resilience, integrity and service above self that continue to shape our community.
