Matt Farthing

Matt Farthing is a former professional touring musician and entertainer who, for twenty years, was a primary school classroom teacher and has recently made the switch to a music specialist teacher. He plays and entertains with a few local rock and jazz bands. Still, while live entertainment options continue to evolve, he performs solo acoustic guitar gigs with a stomp pedal and live looping, enabling him to back himself with layered textures to then play lead guitar lines. As well as solid musicianship, Matt delivers lively entertainment on whatever scale is required. His repertoire is old school rock and pop standards spanning mainly the 70s to the 90s, but if you have any requests, let him know and see if he can pull it out of his musical trick bag.
